Tasting Room

Every evening starting at 7PM, Iconic Wines Korea turns into a cozy, private wine lounge, during which time IconicW guests can choose to drink the wines purchased at the shop in the IconicW Tasting room. Usually some lively jazz music or intimate classical music is played over the high end audio speakers. On select evenings, a classic movie or a music performance will be projected on the big screen wall for the viewing pleasure of the guests. The use of IconicW Tasting Room is subject to the following conditions and restrictions:

— Guests are expected to order a premium bottle, with the shop price of at least 100,000KRW. Usually 1 bottle is expected for a party of 2 or 3.

–– For each bottle of wine, up to four wine glasses will be provided free of charge. For additional glass, there will be an additional charge of 5000KRW per glass. Glass type will be chosen based on the type of wine purchased. Usually, Riedel, Zalto, or Spiegelau wine glasses are provided.

— IconicW is not a restaurant, so there will be no food available. The guests can order food using a delivery service of choice, widely available in Seoul Gangnam area. Common etiquette is expected regarding the type of foods that is ordered for delivery as not to disturb other guests, namely foods that are have strong offensive smells are discouraged. Western foods such as pizza, pasta, cold cuts, cheese platter, or Japanese foods such as sushi are acceptable.

— Guests are not allowed to bring own wines or beverages, nor is any smoking allowed.

— For private bookings (meaning exclusive use of the tasting room for the entire evening), a surcharge will be applied. Please contact the staff for more information.
