Taittinger Brut Reserve

Description

 A ripe and distinctly yeasty nose displays evident maturity to the pleasantly secondary aromas of various white fruit compote and petrol whiffs. There is excellent richness to the complex and delicious if not particularly refined flavors that are supported by a firm but not fine mousse, all wrapped in a succulent and lingering finish. This full-flavored and generously proportioned effort won’t win any awards for elegance but the complexity is impressive.  (10/2017) 90 points Allen Meadows – Burghound.
